Make a donation and help a great cause!

The Carl Vinson Institute of Government is holding a management program and is made up of employees in different organizations within the country and has decided to set out to give back to the community and enrich the lives at Calvary Children’s Home.

Calvary was picked due to its mission, impact, and locale. Calvary’s mission is to keep brothers and sisters together during times when they can’t have the love and guidance of parents. Calvary offers love and hope to children who need it most. Calvary’s goal is to enhance the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of the children. Calvary teaches spiritual values which help build a foundation for the power of faith in their young lives as well as inspiring these young people to be the best they can be. As a group, we decided we wanted to get behind this effort to raise funds for them and put in the man hours to create something lasting for generations to come.

The Carl Vinson Management Program will raise money, dollar for dollar, that will be donated directly to Calvary but specifically used for our project which includes the clearing of two overgrown areas (areas #1 and #2 listed as show above) and the landscaping of a space behind their newest girl’s cottage (area #3 as shown above). Our end goal is to create a gazebo with seating for the girls that will foster their spiritual development by providing a quiet space for studying or an intimate setting for small groups.
